Sixearch peer search system

Start the Sixearch Application

Linux/Unix: at the command line in the directory where you installed 6S, type "6Sforlinux". Or double click on the file from your file manager. (You may need to change the path to your Sun java within 6SforLinux file if the java path is not included in your $PATH environment variable.)
Windows XP: double click "6S for Windows.bat" in the directory where you installed the program.
Mac OS X: double click "6S.app".

Once the Sixearch application is launched, the application window can be closed and all operations will be done in background. Users can still access the Sixearch application through the Sixearch system tray icon (menu bar item for OS X) later. By right clicking the Sixearch icon, a popup menu will be displayed and users can reopen the Sixearch application window or go to a particular service directly.
