Sixearch: Social Web search via adaptive peers
the personal information you provide to us. |
What information we collect and how we use it:The 6S application records the following information:
The information collected is used to generate a real time visualization of the 6S peer network (accessible through the "Network Viewer" tab on the 6S Web site). Only the 100 most recently active peers will be shown in the visualization in any given time.
Information sharing:We will never sell, share, or rent any information collected from the 6S network in any way other than what is mentioned in this policy.
Your choices:You may elect to hide all of your personal information from the 6S network viewer, in which case you can still use all of the functionalities provided by 6S. To hide your information, uncheck the "Show my peer and queries in the network viewer" option in the 6S preferences. Once you do so, your peer will stop sending any information to our server. Any information about your peer that we receive from other peers will be hidden from the network viewer as well.
About this policy:If you have any concern or additional questions about this policy, please feel free to contact any developer. Contact information is available on this Web site.
We reserve the right to update this policy in the future. Any changes will be posted on this page. We will also keep all the prior versions of this policy for your review.
